Management Team

James C. (Jay) Votta, FCAS, MAAA

Vice President - Actuarial Services

James C. (Jay) Votta joined Integris Group in 2020 as the Lead Actuary. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Votta served as a Partner with Ernst & Young and was the appointed actuary for a variety of leading companies in the insurance and reinsurance industries, including in the medical professional liability sector.

Throughout his career, he worked closely with the capital markets on mergers and acquisitions, and oversaw the expansion of various actuarial tools, including reserving and rate-marking platforms and predictive models for underwriting and claims arbitrage.

Mr. Votta holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Colby College. He is also a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
