Marc Hammett is an accomplished senior insurance executive who restores profitability, facilitates record revenues, and protects MPL insurers against complex financial and operational risks. Most recently, Mr. Hammett held the roles of CFO, then CEO, of MedMal Direct Insurance Company, now Integris Assurance Company, following its acquisition by Integris Group. In his former role as CFO at MAG Mutual Insurance Company, he helped transform the $250 million property & casualty, medical professional liability and commercial lines carrier into a multi-line, multi-company regional insurer and the ninth largest medical professional liability specialty insurance company in the U.S. Mr. Hammett is a certified public accountant and member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a past member of the Medical Professional Liability Association, formerly the Physician Insurers Association of America, and served on various Finance, Leadership Forum, and THRF Sectional Planning Committees. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration / Accounting from Shorter University in Rome, Georgia.
